On Tuesday I was honored to receive the Friend of the Towns Award from the Wisconsin Towns Association. I appreciate the recognition for my work for local town governments.

Last night, I voted in favor of a bipartisan tax relief plan that would have provided nearly $3 million to property taxpayers in the 39th Assembly District. Unfortunately, the state senate failed to pass it. I will always fight to return surplus dollars back to the taxpayers of Wisconsin instead of having it sit in Madison. My full statement is below.

The @UniversitiesWI Regents are a total clown show. If they were really trying to make our System stronger, they would have made the decision to shrink their administrative footprint by the hundreds - not just fire the one guy who tried running the System more efficiently..

You cant make this stuff up... Democrats have successfully made it far more difficult for a law-abiding US citizen to travel domestically than a terrorist or criminal to enter/stay in this country.

This week, I had a wonderful time meeting with students from the local school districts about their experiences as members of the Future Farmers of America (FFA). I really enjoyed talking with them about what they've learned from this program and hearing their personal stories and how it's shaped their lives.

@RepAlexDallman I submit that NO taxpayer dollars should be given to college athletes for NIL. Take Lottery money if it’s that critical.

Today is the Wisconsin State Assembly Session where we discuss and vote on important bills. Feel free to watch if you’re wondering what your state government is up to. That's at 1:00 p.m. Next at 7:00 p.m. is the Wisconsin State of the State address. This annual tradition, dating back to our state’s founding in 1848, is where the Governor reports on the condition of Wisconsin and shares priorities for the year ahead. Both should show up on the home page of wiseye.org

Happy Presidents’ Day! This holiday began as a celebration of George Washington’s birthday and later came to recognize Abraham Lincoln and all who have served as President. In 1971, it was set as the third Monday in February.

You know what local community members and past victims might actually be afraid of.....? Violent criminals being let back out onto our streets and into our communities. And yes, the way to solve this problem is to allow our local sheriff's departments and county jails to cooperate with @ICEgov to remove VIOLENT CRIMINALS from our state and country.
