The evidence points conclusively toward Ron DeSantis running for President again in 2028: 1. Ramped up media appearances including in-depth "get to know you" interviews. 2. Strong push to befriend Trump and win his praise. Named highway after him, got land for presidential library, lunch and golf with Trump, etc. 3. Focused on big issues in interviews and remarks. 4. Refusal to endorse in FL Gov race. Preserving political capital + staying on Trump's good side. 5. "Team DeSantis" account has started tweeting again. 6. Rumors of interest in presidential cabinet role keeping DeSantis' name in the news. All of his moves are indicative of an outgoing governor looking to launch a presidential campaign in 1-2 years. I correctly predicted DeSantis' first run when everyone claimed he would never challenge Trump, and I see the same energy shaping up for him to enter the 2028 race.
