On Monday, I will be back in Washington to vote for the CASH Act to send higher direct stimulus payments to working families. Hopefully, the President can convince House and Senate Republican leaders to get on board. 2/

It is a disgrace that on Christmas Eve an attempt to pass an increase to $2,000 for direct stimulus payments, as President Trump has called for, was blocked by House Republican leadership. 1/

I supported the bipartisan coronavirus relief bill, but we must do more. Our state & local govts cannot be forced to bear the brunt of this pandemic. Any future relief package must include state & local aid so our communities can rebuild from COVID-19.
