Over the last 10 years, I’ve done 120 of something I called Cheri-on-Shifts. I job-shadowed folks and walked in the shoes of the people I serve, to get a firsthand view of the challenges Illinoisans face every day. This is the story behind a decade Cheri-on-Shifts ⬇️

Thank you to the people of North, Northwest and Central Illinois. I’m humbled that you put your trust in me year after year, and for a decade allowed me to be your Representative. It’s been my honor to be your voice in Washington.

Over the last 10 years, my office recovered $5.3 MILLION that constituents were owed from federal agencies like the IRS, SSA and the VA. I’m so proud of the work I’ve done to make sure the people I serve can keep more of their hard-earned dollars!

As part of my Library of Congress Book Deliveries, I visited 58 local libraries across NW & Central IL and delivered over 2,900 donated books! From a young age, I've always loved to read, and I’ve loved sharing this passion with kids across our communities.

For 10 years, I have been proud to serve North, Northwest and Central Illinois in Congress. Every one of my accomplishments has been with your partnership, and being your voice in Washington has been the greatest honor of my professional life. Here's #10YearsinReview ⬇️

With today’s signing of the government spending bill, I’ve successfully delivered on every Community Project Funding request I’ve submitted throughout the program's lifetime! These wins will positively impact North, Northwest and Central IL for years to come. Check them out 👇

There is no better way to conclude my time in Congress than by delivering funding for vital projects in our communities one final time.

With the passage of this year's gov’t funding bill, 15/15 of my Community Project Funding requests got included, meaning every project I’ve ever submitted will become law!
