Americans are paying up to 80% more on delivery app orders because of hidden fees and predatory pricing tactics. In NYC, it’s even worse. That’s why @SenatorLujan and I introduced the PRICE Act to require delivery apps to explain and show you every fee as you add items to your order and ban surveillance pricing that exploits consumers.

This is welcome news. For months, @SpeakerJohnson has chosen partisan obstruction over global stability at the behest of Trump. A bipartisan majority of the House has now overruled them. This bill funds Ukrainian reconstruction, slaps new sanctions on Russia, and proves that America’s word and commitment still matters. We’re sending a clear message to Putin: Ukraine, our democratic ally, will win this war.

When the Trump administration tried to block Members of Congress from entering detention facilities like 26 Federal Plaza in New York and the Adelanto Processing Facility in California, we fought back and won. I am sickened by the disgusting display of antisemitism at NYU’s Steinhardt building. During a week meant for celebrating the university’s graduates, this hateful act is a repulsive attempt to intimidate our Jewish students and our community. I appreciate @NYUniversity’s swift response and support efforts to identify those responsible. We all must be unequivocal and outspoken in condemning the startling recent escalation of antisemitism around the City.

Judges appointed by every living president are resoundingly rejecting Trump’s illegal immigration dragnet. ICE has lost more than 10,000 cases in federal court — a staggering number. And yet, despite thousands of rulings that it is violating the law, ICE has not changed a thing about their illegal tactics. When an administration doesn’t adjust after losing 10,000 times in court, they have reached a new level of willful disregard for the law. They will be held accountable when Democrats take back the majority.

If this ceasefire is on “life support,” it’s because this President plunged us into a reckless war of choice with no serious plan, objective or achievable goals. Neither Trump, nor Hegseth – or any other member of this administration for that matter – have been able to clearly articulate the objectives of this catastrophic war. In what has become a regular occurrence, an hour before I arrived at 26 Federal Plaza, ICE snatched a woman with an ongoing asylum claim who was leaving her first appearance in immigration courtroom at 26 Federal Plaza. Masked agents aggressively detained her with no explanation. As former Secretary Kristi Noem acknowledged in testimony to me, it is illegal to deport people with active asylum cases. Yet ICE continues to ignore the law and due process. @SecMullinDHS, follow the law and stop this un-American deportation dragnet that is intended to sow chaos and fear in our communities.

ICE announced they are shutting down its internal oversight agency. Unsurprisingly, the band of masked thugs that has been violently attacking and detaining our neighbors for the past 18 months is removing any vestige of internal accountability. Congressional oversight is more than ever a true necessity. No matter how much they try to stop me, I’ll be back every week at the ICE detention facilities in my district.

Amidst all of the horrors of Donald Trump’s deportation dragnet, we cannot lose sight of the administration’s attacks on unaccompanied minors. Innocent children, often with few resources, are being detained in custody for up to 180 days as their friends and family wait for their release. I’ve already called on the administration directly to address this cruelty, and I will keep sounding the alarm until these inhumane policies are abandoned. These are kids!
