Last night, we lost a PA State Trooper in the line of duty. Corporal Timothy O’Connor Jr. dedicated himself to keeping people safe & made the ultimate sacrifice doing it. We are forever in gratitude to him & his family for his courage and commitment to protecting his community.

This is a day to honor those lost to one of humanity’s darkest chapters and reflect on the cost of hatred left unchecked. Remembering isn’t passive; it means staying alert to the erosion of truth and human dignity. Choosing courage over silence is how we stand up for one another.

I toured the Sheet Metal Workers Local 19 Training Center in Philly to hear about the growing success of its Apprenticeship programs. The new state budget invests in Apprenticeship programs like these because union jobs lead to good careers, stable futures, & strong communities.

Medicare's Open Enrollment deadline for 2026 is at the end of this week! Medicare is a federal program, but PA provides free help via the PA Medi program. If you are turning 65 and would like to learn about your options, call my office at 610-534-1002 to schedule a phone appt.
