During Black History Month, we celebrate Black Excellence across the country. I spoke about the Evolution of Black Excellence and highlighted some notable examples on the House floor.

The Transportation and Infrastructure committee honored the Congressman with a floral bouquet in a hearing today as well as the Homeland Security committee.

Today, the Homeland Security committee placed a bouquet at the seat of Congressman Donald M. Payne, Jr. and had a moment of silence in his honor. It was a moving tribute to a great Congressman and dedicated servant of the people.

There are major NJ-10 infrastructure projects in process right now, such as The Gateway Program, Hudson County Turnpike extension, and Newark Liberty International Airport upgrades. I met with HNTB officials Stephen Dilts, Donnett Cox, and Justin Bernbach to discuss them.
