Public space is crucial for our communities. Since taking office, I've helped bring in over $3.6 million to revitalize parks, rec centers, school courtyards, and more. This week, I'm happy to announce SPRING, my initiative to bring more state dollars back to the district.

I'm happy to be welcomed to City Hall tomorrow to speak at this hearing about energy affordability - a topic I've been focused on as Chair of the House Energy Committee. We have real solutions at the city and state level to bring costs down and protect working families.
Councilmember Isaiah Thomas@CMThomasPHL

Energy costs are rising, and too many of our neighbors are feeling it across Philly and beyond. Along with Councilmember Driscoll, we’re hosting a hearing to dig into solutions. Join us May 12, 1PM at City Hall, Room 400. To testify, Register with my office by May 11, 3PM.

You don't hear "unanimous" too often in Harrisburg, but when it comes to practical solutions to energy affordability, I'm glad we can find common ground. I'm happy to share that my Advanced Transmission Technologies bill is moving forward. pahouse.com/Fiedler/InTheN…

Electric bills are going up. We need smarter, cost-effective solutions to expand electrical capacity. I voted YES on @RepFiedler's bill to use advanced grid technology to expand the current infrastructure we have while keeping costs down for folks in PA. wri.org/insights/advan…

@AFTPA @CCPedu As Director of Business and Operations at the Carlisle School District, Mike Statler knows firsthandthe district’s investment in solar has led to longterm savings. He was happy to share that installation at their elementary school is projected to be complete by the end of 2026.

Solar for Schools is a testament to what's possible in divisive times. An incredible coalition of building trades, environmental groups, teachers' unions, and more helped get S4S across the line. The program saves money, creates jobs, and gets more power on the grid in Pa.

Solar for Schools is the grant program I helped pass in 2024, a way for school districts in Pa. to install and own their own solar panels. Today at 1pm, superintendents and advocates will celebrate the program and share updates on their projects: youtube.com/live/o-19ZYvTb…

I am grateful to see @GovernorShapiro taking a stand for working families amid the energy affordability crisis. I agree with his call for "transparent, justifiable equity returns" from utility companies, which is part of my Return on Equity bill, HB2224 eenews.net/articles/penns…

Ads pop up on our screens almost anytime we use the internet. But did you know that the revenue generated by selling these ads isn't taxed? I'm a co-sponsor of @RepFiedler's bill to start taxing these big tech companies that profit off these ads so they can start paying their fair share after raking in billions. penncapital-star.com/uncategorized/…
