Our base should not have to beg @SenMcConnell and @LeaderJohnThune to pass something as critical as securing and safeguarding our elections. Period.  I can't think of anything more arrogant than ignoring the will of the people, especially when they're the ones who gave us majorities in the House and Senate. This inaction will not only cost us in the midterms but will also cost our republic.

Senate Democrats will NOT allow the SAVE Act to pass through the Senate, no matter how long it takes. That’s because the SAVE Act: 1. Purges millions of Americans from voter rolls 2. Kills online, mail, and motor voter registration. 3. Rejects commons IDs to register to vote. 4. Forces Americans to register in person. 5. Penalizes married women who changed their last names.

The problem isn't that Senate Republicans don't support the SAVE Act. Apparently, 50 plus of them do. The problem is that it's not a priority. If it were, it would've been on the President's desk last year — and already law. Talk is cheap, folks.
