Earlier this week, I headed to Greenwood Elementary to visit Kim Kolano’s 4th grade class. While I was there I was able to deliver the photo souvenirs from their trip to the State Capitol earlier this month and talk to them more about my job as their state representative.

It was wonderful to see the students from St. Mary Catholic School in Colby during a recess in the Assembly floor session on Wednesday. I had the opportunity to speak to them for a few minutes in the Assembly gallery and grab a picture with them just off the floor.

I had a wonderful visit with library director Maxx Handel at the Frances L. Simek Memorial Library in Medford last week. I appreciate the opportunity to learn more the issues important to her and her patrons, as well as the services her library provides for area residents.

As part of a busy day yesterday, I had the opportunity to welcome the 4th-grade students from Loyal Elementary to the State Capitol and speak to them in the Assembly Chamber. Thank you for visiting!

I had a wonderful visit to several classes in the Stanley-Boyd School District yesterday. Getting into schools around the district to interact with our future leaders is one of the best parts of my job. I appreciate the opportunity to talk with the students and their questions.

On Friday afternoon, I welcomed the 4th-grade students from Athens Elementary to the State Capitol. Due to another event, they were not able to see the Assembly Chamber on their tour, so I brought them up to my office and the Joint Finance Hearing Room instead.

Today, we celebrate Mother’s Day. Thank you to the wonderful mothers around the 69th Assembly District for all you do!

This upcoming Monday, May 11th, a rehabilitation project will begin on State Highway 29 between Boyd in Chippewa County and Thorp in Clark County. The project is scheduled for completion in September. For more information on this project, you can visit: projects.511wi.gov/wis29chipclark/

Yesterday, Sen. James and I visited the 4th-grade at Stetsonville Elementary. Before heading to the classroom, we joined the students in the cafeteria for lunch, where I met Principal Richelle Crank-Woller. During our presentation, the students learned how to use a highway map.

Yesterday, @SenJesseJames joined me for a visit to St. Mary Catholic School in Colby. We had a great conversation with Mr. Tony Pospichal’s 4th-grade class in preparation for their visit to the State Capitol next week.

The Gold Award is the highest achievement in Girl Scouts, and less than 6% of Girl Scouts earn this prestigious award. Congratulations, Hazel and Lily! 🧵 (2/2)

This past weekend, @SenJesseJames and I had the privilege of presenting citations on behalf of the State Legislature to Hazel Flink from Abbotsford and Lily Esselman from Mayville, recognizing them for earning the Gold Award from the Girl Scouts of America. 🧵thread⬇️

Yesterday, I continued my tour of schools around the 69th District with a stop at Medford Elementary. I spoke with the 4th grade students about state government and my job as their state representative. I also had the opportunity to answer some of their great questions.

It was a pleasure to welcome the 4th-grade students from @Greenwood_WI Elementary to the State Capitol on Friday afternoon. I always enjoy the opportunity to interact with some of our district's future leaders.

On Monday, I had the opportunity to tour the new Science and Health Sciences Building at @UWEauClaire. I was an advocate for this project during the budget process last session, and I appreciate the opportunity to see how it is progressing.
