Finally, I want to thank the people of the 88th Assembly District for giving me the opportunity to serve as your State Representative. When I reflect on all that we have accomplished, I know none of it would have been possible without your support and feedback. Truly, thank you!

The Wisconsin Assembly Sergeant at Arms Office are truly the glue that holds the Assembly together. From delivering office supplies to reserving rooms, and everything in between, they have been a tremendous help. Thank you to Sergeant at Arms Byers and her staff!

As Vice-Chair of the Joint Audit Committee, I have had the privilege to work closely with the Legislative Audit Bureau. Thank you to everyone at LAB for their independent, nonpartisan efforts to oversee our state government!

At every Ways and Means Committee meeting I have chaired, Scott from Legislative Council has been at my side with dependable legal and policy advise. Thank you to Scott and all the attorneys at Legislative Council for your nonpartisan legal expertise.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of President Carter earlier today. I agreed little with his politics, but he always had the best interests of our country in mind. My prayers go out to his family in their time of grief.

As my term as your State Representative wraps up, I want to give my thanks to the people who work behind the scenes at our Capitol. Thank you to Assembly Chief Clerk Ted Blazel and his staff. Nothing in the Assembly would get done without your work on the floor and off.

I am shocked by the devastating news from Madison. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families and teachers at Abundant Life Christian School as they face this unspeakable tragedy.

One of my favorite parts of this time of the year is all the groups who take advantage of the acoustics in our beautiful State Capitol. With festive decorations and frequent live performances, Christmas is a great time to plan a trip to see the Capitol!

I'm excited to welcome the 2024 Wisconsin State Capitol Christmas tree to the rotunda! This year's lighting ceremony will be on Thursday, December 5th at noon.

A big thank you to the Wisconsin Grocers Association for giving me the 2023-24 Friend of Grocers award! On top of supplying our food, Wisconsin grocers add over 30,000 jobs to our economy. I'm honored to receive this recognition.

I'm honored to receive the Champion of Commerce Award from the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce. I'm proud of my work to support Wisconsin's business climate. Only by expanding job growth, investment, and economic opportunity can we move our state forward!
