Thank you to the brave men and women of our Armed Forces who have dedicated their lives to defending our freedom and protecting our nation.

I want to thank my friend, Senator Ed Hooper, for his lifelong record of outstanding public service. Ed has been a true statesman and positively impacted his constituents and all Floridians. He will be greatly missed by all of us who work with him in the legislative process.

Today we celebrate all the great moms who sacrifice so much for all of us. Happy Mother’s Day!

Today, we wear blue for Autism Awareness day! Autism affects over 5 million Americans and 1 in 31 children. Florida is making significant progress in fighting for the support that they need, and we’re not stopping anytime soon.

Last year, I filed HB 79 to try and prevent tragedies like this from happening. Regretfully, it did not pass, but it will be the first bill I file this year. I will continue to fight to get this legislation approved to help protect these children. Praying for Kennedi’s family.

Great day in Pasco County for a Grand Opening, and Ribbon Cutting ceremony, for the Wilton Simpson Senior Center in Dade City. The center is now welcoming residents aged 60 and older to join for fellowship, food, and fun each weekday. #PascoProud

Beginning tomorrow, October 1st, the following laws will go into effect.

What happened in Michigan today is yet another horrendous instance of the evil and violence that now plagues our country. This is unacceptable. Pray for our nation that we turn from evil, and pray for the victims and their families.

This past legislative session, I secured funding for a new water tower and other infrastructure projects in San Antonio to better prepare the city for storms. These improvements will enhance daily life and, more importantly, keep residents safe during hurricane season.

It was an honor to sit with Pasco’s legislative leaders and speak to the E. Pasco Chamber about our upcoming legislative priorities. We discussed securing funding for the East Pasco Storm Shelter and continuing to advocate for autistic and other dev. disabled children.
