Nothing is simpler than passing the SAVE America Act.   The House has passed it multiple times. The Senate needs to pass it immediately and send it to the President’s desk.   The integrity of our elections depends on it.

Our farmers, ranchers, and producers put food on our tables, clothes on our backs, and keep America strong. Every hardworking American deserves equal treatment under the law—no exceptions. That’s why I introduced the Equal Treatment for Farmers Act.

The NEA has completely gone off the rails. Instead of focusing on students, teachers, and the classroom, it has become nothing more than a left-wing political operation. This behavior is not worthy of a congressional charter, which is why my bill would revoke it.

Huge week in the House and the Freedom Caucus is delivering for the American People. The House passed FISA with critical anti-Central Bank Digital Currency language attached to block any attempt by unelected bureaucrats to create an Orwellian surveillance tool monitoring Americans’ finances. With FISA expiring tonight, the Senate must pass the House package immediately. Even if they opt for a short-term extension, HFC and our allies made abundantly clear that there is no path forward for a long-term extension of FISA without major reforms to safeguard Americans’ right to privacy. Furthermore, we blocked the effort to jam through a reckless E-15 mandate into the farm bill — this would crush refiners, raise gas prices on working families, increase food costs, and impose yet another backdoor government mandate on Americans. Finally, we delivered for the President by setting the stage to fully fund ICE and Border Patrol through reconciliation 2.0 for the rest of his administration to ensure Democrats can no longer hijack America’s security for their insane open borders agenda. Americans deserve a government that secures the border, protects their privacy, and stays out of their wallets and their gas tanks — and the Freedom Caucus is delivering.

The House passed the Farm Bill! This bill gives farmers the certainty and tools they need to meet today’s challenges, strengthens rural communities, and cuts unnecessary bureaucracy. I’m proud of our work to deliver for North Carolina farmers, producers, and rural communities.

After 76 days, the longest government shutdown in history is over. @DHSgov is back open, @ICEgov and @CBP will be funded through reconciliation (with NO Democrat votes) so liberals can’t play games with federal law enforcement funding. To be clear, this Democrat shutdown NEVER should have happened. To our great, patriotic employees who have continued to protect the homeland every single day without a guaranteed paycheck—thank you. National security and constitutional liberty are not competing priorities. Congress has a responsibility to protect both. FISA is a critical tool for monitoring foreign adversaries and keeping Americans safe, but it must remain focused on foreign threats, not the surveillance of American citizens. With FISA’s expiration date set for tomorrow, I voted yes to reauthorize it so our intelligence agencies can continue protecting the American people while moving in a positive direction toward implementing much needed reforms. Permanently banning central bank digital currencies is vital to protecting Americans from the ultimate tool of financial surveillance. A CBDC would allow the federal government to monitor, track, and control how Americans spend their own money, including the power to freeze accounts without due process. Now that the House has acted, the Senate must move quickly to preserve these protections, keep Americans safe, and defend the constitutional liberties of the American people.

Two years gone, but never forgotten.   Today marks two years since the deadliest day for law enforcement in Charlotte, North Carolina’s history.  Four brave officers—CMPD Officer Joshua Eyer, Deputy U.S. Marshal Thomas Weeks Jr., NCDAC Investigator Sam Poloche, and NCDAC Investigator Alden Elliott—were killed in the line of duty.   Please join me in praying for their families and loved ones.

The NEA is the largest public sector union in America with over 3 MILLION members. But according to @RepMarkHarrisNC the NEA has drifted far away from classrooms, parents, and students… and become a political activism machine pushing ideology in schools.
