More or less, the parties I support in each European country would look something like this. And yes, the reasons vary a lot: ideological conviction, tactical voting, choosing the lesser evil, national context, political culture, etc.

@Bigmonger Yeah they're kinda washed but most of the others end up worse like the dutch SP that is nativist or Razem that is social militarist and social nationalist. Nowadays the bar is so low and yet many of these parties don't even hit that bar anymore.

Russia held an election a few weeks after Lenin seized power in 1917. Lenin's party finished a distant second. Lenin then abolished the other parties and shut down the constituent assembly right after it convened.
