My legislation would reauthorize the WAP through 2030 while significantly increasing the assistance available to households in our region and beyond, allowing more families to receive assistance and allowing WAP implementers to pay competitive wages and retain their workforces.

Today, I visited a home in Rensselaer County undergoing weatherization improvements to discuss how my Weatherization Enhancement and Readiness Act can help more families save on their energy bills while making their homes safer, healthier, and more energy efficient.
