Two people killed by Trump’s out-of-control ICE in the last week.
The unleashing of ill-trained and unaccountable officers into our communities to enforce an extreme immigration agenda only wreaks havoc and has deadly consequences. It must stop immediately.
I’ll keep fighting for reform and accountability.

Trump tried looting taxpayers of $1.8 billion, only to have a federal judge throw the case back in his face, rule that it was filed for an "improper purpose," and refer his attorneys for disciplinary action.
We always knew this lawsuit was a sham. Now it's time for Republicans to grow a spine and join us in putting a stop to the president's corruption.

Trump is asking workers and families to stretch their paychecks while showering the rich with tax breaks and giveaways.

Don't just take it from Democrats: Trump's tariffs are destroying jobs and raising prices.

The reality of Trump’s failed economy transcends party lines.

It was great to be in Charlemont yesterday to join local officials in announcing federal funding for a new pumper fire truck, which will enhance public safety for thousands of residents.
Supporting our rural communities through this type of investment is exactly the kind of work Congress should be doing to strengthen them. I’m proud to have secured this funding and am grateful to those who serve our communities and keep them safe.

Mr. "art of the deal" strikes again.
Reminder that this war continues to cost the American people billions of dollars – not him.

Trump touted that his tariffs would bring home jobs and lower prices for you and your family.
Instead, you've paid higher prices at the grocery store, the gas pump, and just about everywhere else, all for nothing.

This is what your extra $2,000-a-year tariff dollars are paying for.

I’m saddened to hear of Chairman Bill Archer’s passing. I’ll always remember how he approached every issue on its merits, recognizing that good ideas could come from anywhere, regardless of party.
His Archer Center will continue to stand as a testament to his belief that our institutions are at their best when dedicated people step forward to serve. My prayers are with his loved ones during this difficult time.

As we gather with family and friends to celebrate the Fourth of July and our nation’s 250th anniversary, we must also reflect on what our Founders fought for: a government for and by the people.
Our nation was founded on checks and balances and the belief that all are created equal, no matter how wealthy or well connected.
Generations of Americans have fought to defend those exact principles, sharing an understanding that democracy is never guaranteed.
Today, those values are under threat from a president who is guided solely by his bottom line.
Trump continues to place himself, his family empire, and his allies above the Constitution, undermining the very ideals that inspired our nation’s independence.
Instead of exercising their constitutional responsibility, my Republican colleagues have chosen to turn a blind eye to every abuse of power.
True patriotism is not just about celebrating our history, but also fiercely defending the principles that have made our country stronger – liberty, accountability, justice, and a government that answers to the people.
Those ideals are greater than any one president or party, and they are always worth protecting.
Happy Independence Day.

It’s been one year since Republicans pushed their One Big Beautiful Bill through Congress.
One year on, Democrats still believe that families shouldn’t have to sacrifice their health care for billionaire tax breaks.

Republicans promised their Big Ugly Law would lower costs, strengthen growth, and put more money in pockets.
Instead, it gave handouts to the wealthiest few and stuck you with paying more for groceries, housing, energy, and health care.
Republicans own this law, just as they own its consequences.
