Workers all across America have benefited from provisions in the Working Families Tax Cuts, including 7.5 million tax filers who have claimed No Tax on Tips, averaging tax savings of over $7,000. One year later, @POTUS and @HouseGOP are putting American workers first, delivering real results for those who deserve it.

Over 29 million tax filers benefited from No Tax on Overtime thanks to the Working Families Tax Cuts. American workers have saved on average over $3,100 since the Working Families Tax Cuts became law just one year ago. That’s keeping our promise to American workers and delivering real relief where they need it most.

One year later, 33 million small businesses now have the certainty they need to succeed thanks to the Working Families Tax Cuts. I am proud that my small business tax deduction provision was included in this historic legislation to help small businesses invest, grow, and create jobs for their communities and our nation. When small businesses thrive, our communities thrive.

Paying just the interest on our growing national debt now costs more than many of the programs Americans depend on. Congress must get serious about restoring fiscal responsibility, putting our nation on a stronger path, and securing a more prosperous future.

Earlier this year, I filed a defamation lawsuit against LNP | LancasterOnline after it published statements about me that were false and defamatory. This week, the court denied LNP's attempt to dismiss the case, allowing it to move forward. As the judge wrote: "Smucker's characterization had a substantial factual basis, such that LNP's accusation of 'lying' could be understood as a provably false assertion of intentional dishonesty." I look forward to presenting the facts in court.
