Happy to stand with Governor Pritzker and colleagues as he signed into law a major bill that saved transportation services and jobs for riders and workers across Illinois. I am also proud that the new law calls for the reopening of the Green Line Racine station in Englewood.

I was honored to host farmers from Christian County and agriculture leaders from the Illinois Farm Bureau for a tour of Chicago's urban farms! We visited We Sow We Grow, Eden Place Farms, and Herban Produce, discussing how to work together to boost healthy food access.

I was honored to be a panelist at the She Safe, We Safe Installation Opening Ceremony on August 19, hosted by BYP100. The event focused on critical issues facing Black women, girls, and gender non-conforming people, honoring Sonya Massey and others affected.
