My thoughts are with the families and loved ones of the two U.S. service members who were killed in action. I hope we can safely find and bring home the missing service member.

CENTCOM Statement on Recently Fallen, Missing U.S. Service Members TAMPA, Fla. — On July 17, two U.S. service members in Jordan were killed in action as U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) and partner forces defended against Iranian ballistic missile and drone attacks. Additionally, one service member is currently missing. Four American service members were medically evacuated to Jordanian hospitals. They have since been discharged. Other personnel who were evaluated for minor injuries have returned to duty. Out of respect for the families, CENTCOM will withhold additional information, including the identities of the fallen warriors, until 24 hours after the next of kin have been notified.

But he did interview Epstein co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell for six hours and transferred her to a minimum security facility.

BLANCHE says he will not meet directly with Epstein survivors, arguing he's prohibited from doing so but that he will meet with their counsel or send a deputy to meet with them. "I will get it done today if necessary ... we remain available to meet with any victim or their representative at any time." Says he's "not sure" if he would be able to notify Congress if he meets with Epstein survivors, citing ongoing investigation.
