Today in @NatResources, I talked about the importance of extending authorization for the Fort Peck Reservation Rural Water System and continuing critical water infrastructure projects across northeastern Montana. Reliable water access is essential for tribal communities, rural families, agriculture, and long-term economic growth.

Appreciated meeting with Dr. Christian Lau, President of Dynamo AI, to discuss the importance of guardrails and safeguards for AI systems used by the U.S. Army. As AI continues to advance, ensuring these technologies are secure and reliable is critical to our national security.

In today’s @NatResources Committee hearing, I spoke with Secretary Burgum about the Department of the Interior’s tribal trust responsibilities and the importance of supporting tribal communities across Montana and the West. We are grateful for their service, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to keeping Americans safe. This week, take a moment to thank a law enforcement officer for all they do.

My mom’s love, strength, and sacrifice shaped the person I am today. At a young age, she chose life and raised me as a single parent. Today, we celebrate the incredible mothers whose love and selflessness make the world a better place. Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms across MT and the country!
