Good? & easy answer:less resources&influence for Black communities. I was mid-decade redistricted in TX. I secured funds to reopen a recreational center in Ft Worth. The Republican that will replace me, doesn’t believe in that. So, no more💰4 those kinda projects. Could go on&on.

Professors aren’t bringing in billions in television revenue. Student athletes and conscientious fans (television viewers and merch buyers) will make this work. Or, they will keep getting away w/blatant racism.

This week, Ron DeSantis plans to force an illegal mid-decade redistricting plan through the FL legislature. The people of Florida did not ask for this, nor did they have the opportunity to vote on it. This is Trump's latest desperate attempt to silence voters ahead of the 2026 midterms, and DeSantis is eager to fall in line. Republicans only have themselves to blame when their partisan power grab come back to bite them in November.

Gas prices are getting out of control — and families across North Texas are feeling it every day. Today, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics released data showing a huge increase in inflation, rising to 3.3% in March. This is the largest one-month increase since April 2021. This data — the first inflation report to capture the impact of Trump’s war against Iran — only shows his reckless and costly war has caused the largest increase in gas prices since the index started keeping track in 1967. cnn.com/2026/04/10/bus…

Good riddance to one of the worst attorneys general in our nation’s history. Pam Bondi did nothing but help herself and the rich. She still needs to be held accountable for 14 months of straight disappointment toward the American people. The American people deserve a DOJ that upholds the rule of law, protects civil rights, and puts justice ahead of politics. May she answer for the decisions that undermined trust in our institutions.
