Proud to announce $40,000 in state grant funding has been awarded to @larocheuniv in McCandless to fund sexual assault education. We must ensure that all students are able to learn and live in a safe environment. This state funding will help the community at LaRoche do so.

Happy to announce a $25,000 grant to Temple Ohav Shalom in McCandless. I will continue to advocate for the safety and freedom to worship of our Jewish community and members of all faiths.

Saturday is our free paper shredding event at the Franklin Park Municipal Building from 10:00am to 11:30am, or until both trucks are full. Limit two boxes per household. Paper only, please. Due to overwhelming demand, we will have two shredding trucks this year.

Agriculture is one of the pillars of our society and economy, and Pennsylvania is one of the leading agricultural states in our nation. Thank you to every farmer and agricultural worker for everything you do to put food on our tables.

Yesterday I attended the Pennsylvania Autism Resources Roundtable with colleagues of mine to learn more about autism services in our region and how we in the legislature can better support these vital programs and services.

Happy Pi Day! No better way to celebrate than with a couple delicious pies for my family and staff from Soergel Orchards in Franklin Park!

It’s Fish Fry season in our community. My staff member Reid and I enjoyed having dinner at the Saint Luke the Evangelist Parish Fish Fry in Borough of Franklin Park. Wishing a blessed Lenten season to the Catholic community of the North Hills and across Pennsylvania.

It was wonderful to join the @pafishandboat at their annual legislative lunch to learn how I can help them in their mission to protect our waterways and make sure all Pennsylvanians can enjoy fishing and boating.

Great to visit @Avonworthschool High School to present recognition from the PA House to the @PIAASports State Champ @AvonworthFB, the cast and crew that swept the Gene Kelly Awards last year for their production of Sweeney Todd, and musicians in the Allegheny Valley Honors Band.

Thanks to my friend and colleague @RepHaddock for highlighting HB 865/Act 32 of 2025, my bill to extend the Military Family Education Program for members of our PA National Guard, their spouses, and dependents. I'll always advocate for those in our military and their families.

Congratulations to the @Avonworthschool Girls Volleyball team on winning the @PIAASports State Championship! It was an honor to present the team and coaches with citations from the PA House of Reps during the team banquet in recognition of this wonderful achievement. Lopes Up!
