PA moms deserve quality medical care, especially during birth. Lay midwives, who are unlicensed and without formal training requirements, provide obstetric care in PA without regulation. I'm introducing a bill to ensure transparency to PA women who receive care from lay midwives.

As an ER Doc, I've never seen patients with H. flu meningitis, diphtheria, or other vaccine preventable illnesses, all due to immunizations. I was proud to join the @pa_aap during their advocacy day to call for Senate passage of HB 1828 to protect insurance coverage of vaccines.

Yesterday, the PA House passed my bipartisan bill with @RepWilliamsPA and @RepFiedler to create a framework for the development of geothermal energy in PA. With rising energy costs, this will enable the addition of a new, clean, baseload energy source that will benefit us all.
