I was honored to welcome USDA Deputy Secretary Vaden to Michigan and join him and members of the Michigan Farm Bureau for a roundtable at Weir Farms. During the discussion, we talked about how policies like the Working Families Tax Cuts and this year's Farm Bill will ensure farmers have the tools they need to keep producing an affordable food supply for Michigan families.

It was great to meet so many families from MI-05 in Washington last week to celebrate our nation's 250th anniversary and lead them on tours of the U.S. Capitol Building to share our country's history with them.

The Biden administration's open border policies have jeopardized the safety of our communities, allowing an illegal alien into our country who stabbed his coworker to death, a tragedy that could have been prevented. I remain committed to continuing to work with the Trump administration to bolster our border security and deport violent illegal immigrants to keep our communities safe.

I recently had the opportunity to stop by Stevensville and discuss the EPA's recent decision to provide a $733,250 Brownfields Grant to clean up the former Anstey Foundry and support community engagement activities. EVERY family deserves the freedom to choose the school that's right for their child—including a faith-based school. Chairman @RepWalberg and @SenatorLankford led 43 Members of Congress—35 Representatives and 8 Senators—in filing an amicus brief urging the Supreme Court to protect the constitutional rights of faith-based schools participating in school choice programs. The brief also warns that allowing the lower court's decision to stand could undermine the tax credit scholarship program established under the Working Families Tax Cuts.
