It’s been an honor to give the final prayer at each session, with this one being my last one, it has truly been an honor and privilege to have served my constituents in HD51. Thank you for your support and kind words during the past couple of years, they mean the world to me. Public office is temporary, but character endures forever Weinberg Out

When a CITIZEN LED initiative is negated by Democrats, it sets a very dangerous precedent. YOU the people should not be silenced when you bring forth an initiative, but that’s what Democrats are actively doing. Our roads are some of the worst in the nation and you want them better maintained. Don’t let voice be silenced by those who say they care for all.

HB26-1281 does nothing good for Colorado, this has been year after year of Democrats pushing their ludicrous bills. It’s another bill to add to their soft on crime policies which have made Colorado one of the highest in the nation for crime.

As a parent, HB26-1281 should make you very concerned. Imagine if someone killed your child and took pictures. You’d be torn, crying, grieving, and much more. Then you’re informed, the suspect is exempt from punishment! How would that sit with you?!

Since last year, Democrats have continually stripped parental rights away bill after bill. At this point with what Democrats are pushing, might as well change the age of an adult to 12 years old folks and all of their bills make sense. It’s madness that a parent is unable to look out for the welfare of THEIR own children. When did the parent become the bad guy in this? As a parent myself, I will not allow the government to think they can do a better job of protecting MY CHILDREN when they can’t stop overspending. I will not allow it and will fight this as much as I can! Weinberg Out

When I was elected to be your representative for HD51, I knew the huge responsibility I would have to carry to the state capitol. It wasn’t one of frugality but of fiscal responsibility, because you the taxpayer work too hard for it to be dished out so easily and with no regard for the consequences. I’ll do what I can to call out any outlandish proposals CO Dems push out. This all could’ve been avoided if they had listened to our proposals last year during Gov Polis’ Special Session. Look at where it’s left CO!

CO Dems have led us straight into another massive budget deficit, now topping $1.5 billion. While Colorado families struggle with high costs, failing schools, and rising crime. Why? Because Dems are pouring hundreds of millions into healthcare for illegal immigrants. What was supposed to cost taxpayers just $15–27 million is exploding to over $104 million this year and projected at $127 million+ next, more than SIX TIMES the original ESTIMATE. That's your tax dollars covering driver's licenses for illegal immigrants, legal defense fees, and expansive social programs, all while law-abiding COLORADANS get SQUEEZED. This fiscal insanity disguised as compassion. They're choosing non-citizens over Colorado families, veterans, seniors, and working people who built this state. Coloradans deserve better: secure borders, enforced laws, and leaders who put American citizens and legal residents first. Stop the spending spree. Protect our rights and our wallets. #ColoradoBudget #Deficit #ColoradoFirst

Having family members who survived the Holocaust, one chilling step by the Nazis stands out: they systematically took guns from the people and encouraged neighbors to report gun owners. SB26-004 follows that same dangerous slope. It lets schools, hospitals, behavioral health facilities, and institutions petition to seize your firearms with no meaningful due process for law-abiding Coloradans. The Founding Fathers gave us the Second Amendment for exactly this reason: not just to hunt or own a firearm, but to protect ourselves from a tyrannical government and to remind those in power that WE THE PEOPLE are in charge. Most Coloradans still don’t realize everything CO Democrats are ramming through this session: - Expanding red flag laws that erode our constitutional rights - Driving Colorado into yet another massive budget deficit - Protecting this who harm kids while communities suffer I will not stay silent. I will not stop fighting for the very rights that keep Colorado families safe, the rights my family learned the hard way are never guaranteed. This is our state. These are our rights. Stand up, Colorado ✊🏽! #2A #Colorado #SB26004 #WeThePeople

Dems can claim they visited a third-world country, but it doesn’t compare to actually living there. They were always able to leave and head back to the safety of the United States. They may have witnessed the crime, the lack of human rights, the rampant corruption, and the daily fight for survival, but they never had to endure it. When I finally immigrated to the United States after waiting more than a decade, the experience was nothing like I had ever imagined. The feeling was beyond words. For the first time in my life, I knew the U.S. Constitution granted me real rights, rights I had never possessed before. That day, I couldn’t wait to exercise them. Yet now, CO Dems are attacking one of the most fundamental rights the Founding Fathers gave us, a right that is deeply dear to my heart. SB26-004 is dismantling our Second Amendment protections. It allows people who have never even spoken to you, institutions like schools, hospitals, and behavioral health facilities to petition the court and take away your guns. This is appalling. It is a disgrace to everything the Founders envisioned for this country.

Even in South Africa, a country with some of the strictest gun control laws in the world, my father, mother, sister, and brother were held at gunpoint with AK-47s during a home invasion. Criminals didn't care about the laws, as they were armed breaking into our home. Yet Colorado Democrats seem to believe that more restrictions on law-abiding citizens will magically turn criminals into model citizens overnight. They're wrong. While they push bills like SB26-004 to expand red flag laws, letting schools, hospitals, and institutions take your guns with minimal due process, violent criminals keep operating with impunity. Law-abiding citizens don't need more gun restrictions. We need strong law enforcement, backed by a justice system that actually punishes crime instead of the lenient policies fostered here over the past 8+ years. Real safety comes from empowering good people to defend themselves, not disarming them while criminals laugh. What happened to my family in South Africa taught me one clear lesson: When the state fails to protect you, your rights, especially the Second Amendment, are all that stands between your family and chaos. #2A #Colorado #SelfDefense

Yup, you read that right Loveland. Our deficit has increased to $1.5 billion! This is the second year Dems have managed CO to a deficit. Last year during Gov Polis’ special session. We, the GOP submitted fiscally responsible cuts, but Dems didn’t care about our suggestions. We cannot continue to overspend year after year and allow Coloradans to foot our bill. Our responsibility is to manage a balanced budget and something I’ll continue to fight for. You work too hard for it to be spent like there’s no tomorrow, we shouldn’t take that for granted.
