This is my personal/private page. It is not maintained with government resources and is not an official channel of the Colorado General Assembly. Of the People!

Having family members who survived the Holocaust, one chilling step by the Nazis stands out: they systematically took guns from the people and encouraged neighbors to report gun owners. SB26-004 follows that same dangerous slope. It lets schools, hospitals, behavioral health facilities, and institutions petition to seize your firearms with no meaningful due process for law-abiding Coloradans. The Founding Fathers gave us the Second Amendment for exactly this reason: not just to hunt or own a firearm, but to protect ourselves from a tyrannical government and to remind those in power that WE THE PEOPLE are in charge. Most Coloradans still don’t realize everything CO Democrats are ramming through this session: - Expanding red flag laws that erode our constitutional rights - Driving Colorado into yet another massive budget deficit - Protecting this who harm kids while communities suffer I will not stay silent. I will not stop fighting for the very rights that keep Colorado families safe, the rights my family learned the hard way are never guaranteed. This is our state. These are our rights. Stand up, Colorado ✊🏽! #2A #Colorado #SB26004 #WeThePeople

Even in South Africa, a country with some of the strictest gun control laws in the world, my father, mother, sister, and brother were held at gunpoint with AK-47s during a home invasion. Criminals didn't care about the laws, as they were armed breaking into our home. Yet Colorado Democrats seem to believe that more restrictions on law-abiding citizens will magically turn criminals into model citizens overnight. They're wrong. While they push bills like SB26-004 to expand red flag laws, letting schools, hospitals, and institutions take your guns with minimal due process, violent criminals keep operating with impunity. Law-abiding citizens don't need more gun restrictions. We need strong law enforcement, backed by a justice system that actually punishes crime instead of the lenient policies fostered here over the past 8+ years. Real safety comes from empowering good people to defend themselves, not disarming them while criminals laugh. What happened to my family in South Africa taught me one clear lesson: When the state fails to protect you, your rights, especially the Second Amendment, are all that stands between your family and chaos. #2A #Colorado #SelfDefense
