@Igor_Buinevici This is a really clear framing: avoidance is often the hidden cost mistaken for "stability."

Most companies have an "ostrich problem". But what does it really mean? Sharing great insights from Jeroen Kraaijenbrink: This isn't a strategy issue. Nor an execution issue. It's a pattern of avoidance. The ostrich does not lack awareness. It sees what is going wrong clearly, But chooses not to respond. Over time, that repeated inaction turns small issues into costly failures. People tend to respond to uncomfortable truths in four ways: 1. The Ostrich Sees the problem. Avoids addressing it. Assumes it will fix itself. It does not. 2. The Leader Sees the problem and speaks it clearly, even when it is uncomfortable. That is where change begins. 3. The Sleepwalker Does not fully see the issue and does not act on it. Stays busy, confident, and headed in the wrong direction. 4. The Learner Has not fully recognized the issue yet, But remains open enough to discover it and adjust. Growth starts here. The gap between an Ostrich and a Leader: Is not intelligence or access to information. It is courage to name what is already obvious. Not seeing can be excused. Seeing and ignoring is a choice. P.S. Has this pattern appeared in your organization? ♻️ Repost this so more companies have better leaders.

@RepaVictoria Trust in leaders usually shows up through consistent behavior more than titles or communication style. The traits that matter most tend to be visible in how decisions are made and how people are treated over time.

@Igor_Buinevici Most growth issues aren’t a single blind spot, they’re patterns of behavior that show up across situations. Reducing it to one thing can oversimplify what’s actually going on.
