bynum averaged 6/4 and 7/5 for the championship years, respectively. he was a essentially a non factor. even if you combined the averages for both years it wouldnt be close to whats expected of a top center. artest was on his way out of the league when the lakers were the ONLY team who offered him. kobe did not have a ton of talent. in fact, in those two championship years kobe did what only jordan had done prior to him, and thats win consecutive championships scoring 10+ppg more than any other player on either team in the finals. thats how much better kobe had to be relative to his teammates AND his comp in order to win those 2 rings. and ONLY mj has done the same 91-93. let that sink in.
