@Replyguy245375 Jack Mallers is literally one of the largest Bitcoin scammers. He's involved w/ Cantor Fitzgerald and Lutnick who hijacked BTC with Epstein. He's made fake videos showing "Lightning adoption" that wasn't real. That said, he probably genuinely believes this "layers" propaganda.

@Replyguy245375 He's right in general, but does a poor job explaining it. The block time is a compromise between user experience (faster is better) and lower orphan risk (slower is better). The speed of light is the lower bound for propagation. Time after that continually reduces orphan risk.
