Beijing breaks protocol and reprimands Abu Dhabi: 🔴 During Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed’s visit to Beijing, the UAE reportedly attempted to entice China with closer economic ties in exchange for a clear request: 🔴 to cut relations with Iran and dismantle the Sino-Iranian partnership. But the response was decisive, with a reprimand to Abu Dhabi: “We decide our own allies…” 🔴 “Friendship with the UAE has limits, and does not include interference in our relations with Iran.”

Idi Amin on why he hated Israel. The West demonized this good man, we grew up with western propaganda that he used to eat human beings. The history of African leaders need to be rewritten.

#SecurityAlert Al-Shabaab Faces Operational Setbacks in Mogadishu and Inside Kenya Emerging intelligence from within Al-Shabaab’s senior leadership indicates that the group has acknowledged significant disruptions to its operational networks in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, as well as within Kenya. These setbacks follow sustained and coordinated counterterrorism pressure from Somali and Kenyan security agencies. The group has reportedly undertaken internal restructuring, particularly within its Amniyat apparatus in the Banaadir region, which is responsible for targeted assassinations and improvised explosive device, IED, operations. Abdullahi Ali Sheikh has recently been appointed to lead the Banaadir Amniyat unit, replacing previous leadership. He previously headed the Amniyat in the Jubba regions. Abdullahi, who originates from the Middle Shabelle region, is assessed to possess extensive operational familiarity with Mogadishu and the wider Shabelle areas, a factor likely influencing his appointment. Parallel leadership changes have also been implemented within Al-Shabaab’s security networks operating inside Kenya. These adjustments follow increasing operational constraints faced by the group, alongside the dismantling of several support and facilitation cells across areas extending to the Somalia–Kenya border. Overall, these developments point to mounting pressure on Al-Shabaab’s cross-border operational capabilities and internal security structures. Stay tuned on and please follow @wargelinn for updates #Alshabaab #NISA #DCIKENYA #Counterterrorism #Security #HOA #EASTAFRICA #AUSSOM

@SirakBahlbi @FergieBallFan tplf has committed great crimes against the Somali & Oromo people and even occupying and annexing fertile land( Raya, Welkait, Tsegede) that historically belonged to the Amharas. Ethiopia 🇪🇹 break up was inevitable to begin with but if tplf return that will happen immediately

The warning signs of a fragmenting #Ethiopia are becoming harder to ignore. The President of the Somali Region (Mustafe Mohammed Omer) is openly discussing about the breakup of the #Ethiopian state, admitting that he had prepared the Somali region to secede if the TPLF were to return to power. That admission speaks volumes about the state of Ethiopia under Abiy Ahmed. It depicts one ethnic region is unwilling to be governed by another, and where the prospect of TPLF leadership is seen as a trigger for the country's disintegration. In this video he clearly states that, as TPLF forces advanced toward Addis Ababa, his overriding concern was not to fight for his country, but breaking the Somali Region away from Ethiopia. This raises an obvious question: what calculations were being made by Abiy at the time? may be seceding Oromia? The current fragile state of Ethiopia demands leadership capable of leading the country peacefully —not presiding over its slow unraveling.

International law applies to all States, without exception. Respect for its rules is not optional. Without it, instability spreads, mistrust deepens & conflicts spiral out of control. This is not the moment to retreat from international law. It is the moment to reaffirm it.
