A source sent me this photo of Kash Patel’s customized Nike’s. The shoes feature a number 9 (Patel is the 9th FBI director), a Punisher skull (a vigilante killer from Marvel Comics), and his personal logo (K$H). The backs of the shoes show the FBI motto: "Fidelity, Bravery, Integrity". Patel was photographed wearing them at an FBI Academy event that featured UFC fighters.

@Thecityvent Bit of recency bias in the comments here. For me it has to be Wells - people forget how good he was for us, especially in the six months before we sold him. We should have got a better fee, but it doesn't change the impact he had.

I know a lot of people won’t believe it but it will have been a genuine error. Two hours to edit down a programme isn’t long. They will have simply missed it. I hope some lowly producer/editor doesn’t get the sack. I once transmitted a programme containing the word ‘cunt’ in a thick Scottish accent, the very experienced journalist and editor simply missed it. On transmission it was the first thing I heard. People do make mistakes, we’re human.

I too grew up in a working class family. I was one of 6 & we often struggled to have enough food go around. My parents never saw it as the schools job to give me breakfast tho. These days, there are food banks & charities popping up left right & centre and a welfare system bigger than grannies bloomers… If parents genuinely aren’t feeding their kids breakfast, they should be looked into. But no, instead it’s yet another parental responsibility that will be handed over to the state as we high-five ourselves and pretend it’s “free”. Sometimes I despair. And no, before some of you ask; I don’t think kids should starve… I simply think parents should be responsible for their own children. Old fashioned, I know 🤯

@ReporterRichB @mattparaice4 @jaisaphene It’s not a case of he’s rubbish, but because he scored so many in league 2 for us doesn’t mean he’s the answer in league one, especially when he didn’t play for 9/10 month. Look at Mullins at Wrexham. Smashed it for them coming up and then he was out of his depth
