Universal position of every hitter when they are going good. Train this position, over and over, until it is burned in muscle memory. It will enhance control, power, & decision making in the box. The rest is just a reaction… Stability > Rotational Training.

This year we will be participating in the CFISD BEAR Toy Drive to provide toys to kids in need for the holidays. The drive will begin Monday, Nov. 11th and will go through Thursday, Dec. 12th. Make sure all donations are new & unwrapped. They can be brought to the coaches office

Played last weekend at BBUSA and went 4-7 with 2 doubles, 2 hits, and 5 RBI. Capping off the season with a batting average of .417.

Great weekend in Fort Myers at the WWBA Underclass. Finished the week batting .444 with 3 singles and 1 double. Saw some great pitching. Looking forward to the rest of the fall season.

IF YOU ARE IN HIGH SCHOOL AND YOU ARE: - <85mph off the Mound - Just Starting Puberty - Have Not Started Lifting Consistently A throwing program for “velocity” makes absolutely zero sense…. And if you are talking about velocity to kids 14u & under - You are the problem.

One thing I love getting the player to understand in a lesson setting is being able to create what another coach might be telling them to do in their own way. There are so many voices telling players what do to these days… HS coaches, Travel Coaches, Hitting Coaches, Dad, etc… All kids want to do is please a coach. This is natural in terms of cognition. This could cause a disconnection in what they do mechanically and could be the why as to a lot of kids look extremely choppy and robotic. It’s not easy to do… but knowing how to explain it a bunch of different ways through a strong education of how the body works helps.
