There were 4 Pillars of Khaenri'ah, Hroptatyr was one of them, we don't know the other 3 but I will assume that they were the 3 other Sinners.
Barnstokkr means Child Trunk.
The oldest chronicle describing an Irminsul refers to it as a Tree Trunk.

I love how the dialogues never showed Rerir talking as "Rerir" but as "Rächer of Solnari" ever since he became a Sinner.
Albedo's observation was spot on, he truly sacrificed his own individuality just to continue existing.
