Our work too has at time involved rescuing & caring for women and girls from these communities, that is why we share this short poem with you in the hope to spread awareness.

There are communities in India where prostitution is a part of their tradition, despite these communities being outlawed & their systems/rituals being made illegal, reports from NGOs working around these communities suggest otherwise.

Health care is an important part of our rehabilitative services. Each girl in our home undergoes a thorough medical examination. Today we organised a Complete Blood Count test by partnering with a local diagnostic centre. #diagnostics #health #healthcamp #rescuefoundationindia

In partnership with Rotaract Club Medicrew, we organised a dermatologist camp in Kandivali Shelter. We are thankful for all the volunteers and dermatologist who spared their time and diagnosed our girls.
