AN EXTRAORDINARY STORY (AND INFOGRAPHIC) that emerged 50 years ago from the South to give an alternative vision to #development and a response to the Limits to Growth proposed by the North. Science with conscience: #wellbeing & sustainable society. 👇 medium.com/age-of-awarene…

No matter your politics, it should appall you that the media outlets which claim to care the most about "misinformation" suppressed coverage of South Africa's case against the Gaza genocide, but fully covered Israel's defense the next day—intentionally denying you the full story.

I've been talking networks & learning communities today. They can have a significant impact in an organisation or system. They enable people to connect & share across boundaries. They shorten lines of communication. They help people to do what they know how to do & learn how to do it even better. But networks & communities don't just happen. They need to be nurtured & supported to mature & grow. They are typically worth the investment.

@HelenBevan I will follow an expert explorer that an explorer or an expert. Anyway, to have into account: The explorer is not the expedition. The compass is not the direction. The map is not the territory. ... and we need not only head but heart and hands medium.com/age-of-awarene…

Another post about the difference between thinking like an "expert" & an "explorer". An expert starts from a place of knowing a lot about the topic ("expertise"). That leads to conviction about the right thing to do, confirmation & desirability bias & validation of the current way of thinking. An explorer starts from a place of humility (appreciating there is a lot they don't know). This leads to doubt, curiosity & a stronger likelihood of discovery & breakthrough thinking. Graphic adapted from one by @anujmagazine.
