I am getting seriously tired of being CONSTANTLY told on here what run down third world disaster Germany is, predominantly by people either sitting in some Asian slum or American trailer park. The propaganda accounts and engagement farmers on Twitter are not general reality and this goes for all of Europe. There are issues everywhere in the world but the country/its predecessors did exist and thrive already for hundreds of years before some random Italian even shat in his diapers, let alone did sail west across the Atlantic. Gran Canaria passport control/immigration this weekend for those who don’t live in the EU. This is not about Brexit per se although you will find many who blame it. There are simply many non-Schengen (mainly non-EU) citizens arriving at the same time. Especially given the €395 million invested that has resulted in hundreds of machines not even working. The EU should suspend this system for the summer otherwise many nationalities will face longer and longer queues. Greece has already abandoned it. Others need to follow.

What a fascinating outcome. I honestly thought the steroid-using athletes would shatter world records. After these performances, I think the takeaway has to be that most world-record holders are genetic freaks who maximized their natural abilities with training, and even substances can't get the next rung of athletes into that category. Which is arguably an even MORE interesting takeaway, because presuming training at the .001% level is fairly equal athlete to athlete, that means some humans truly are just built different in a way that isn't catchable.
