Systems need to be able to react to dynamic & changing threats. There is no such thing as a ‘one size fits all’ Major Incident plan. Whether Ballistics, Blades or Baseball Bats; all weapons are force multipliers in any incident. All require an adaptable tactical response.

@WeekesLauren It bothers me that most training scenarios are still ‘single point of bleeding on a mannequin’ We need to create confident lay responders & debunk ‘high or low’ - high and tight does that We need to create thinking professionals who make decisions based on tac situation & wound

@WeekesLauren And the single/double loop fiasco 🙄 TQs have been overcomplicated and their use diluted by poor training; all it takes is one look at a real traumatic amputation post blast to realise we should be focusing on confident application Applied correctly, they will work high or low
