Youth are focused on equitable, just, and inclusive #ClimateAction built around accountability. Calls for #LossAndDamageFinance are consistent: #PayUp4LossAndDamages. One message has rung especially clear across youth messaging: "There is no climate justice without human rights".

Calls for the integration of youth into policy & decision making spaces continue. Youth are calling for #mentorship and #capacitybuilding opportunities to build the skills that will enable meaningful and complete engagement in high-stakes decision making spaces.

💬 The #COP27 Children & Youth Pavillion (@CYPavilion), located in the Blue Zone, has been abuzz all week. Youth from around the world are showing up to have their voices heard and to share their stories on every dimension of the #climatechange conversation.

🌏 #Youthwashing is an emerging term circling conversations about youth engagement in climate action. It entails the idea that deceptive claims will be made about youth inclusion and the address of youth concerns in various climate spaces - when youth representation isn’t there.
