Do you want your taxes to help you out or not? Because right now they took away all our services to fund tax breaks. If I’m paying taxes, I want them to go to healthcare, housing, food, childcare, infrastructure, etc not go into must’s infinite bank account so he can spend all day on twitter

They’re extracting money (which is life force since it keeps us alive) from everyone else and then hoarding more than they could ever use in 1000 lifetimes. That life force they’re hoarding? That COULD be actually helping you and everyone else live good lives. Why should they hoard

@Clarity2Context @GuntherEagleman You're arguing from a place of fantasy. If they leave, the policy doesn't matter. Is the goal to punish them for wealth, or to collect more taxes for services. If the government revenue goes down, the policy failed. It's actually pretty simple.

Do you really want most of that to subsidize the taxes of a guy who wouldn’t even notice the money missing because he has more than he could ever use in the first place? It’s a PERCENTAGE. It doesn’t matter how much they have. Fair is fair.

@Clarity2Context @GuntherEagleman They already pay almost all the state revenue. That is not up for debate. The question is should they pay more. By putting in a wealth tax and causing them to move away, they now pay the state no tax, and the revenue the government receives actually goes down.

Interesting dichotomy I’m noticing between high value founders and VCs. VC’s want to invest in companies who don’t “need” their money. Founders who don’t need their money view VC intake forms as a waste of time. I’m starting to fall into that second category. Totally open to full diligence once we decide there’s value in continuing the conversation. Anyone else feel this way? Maybe I’m crazy
