It was a trickle-down effect from the top of the All-Seeing Eye of the Pyramid. Publishing Houses controlled what counted as legitimate knowledge. The winners always write the history books. Public schools had more in common with the prison system than true learning centers. Bells, Uniforms, Rows, Schedules, Slop Meals, Standardized Tests. But they served their purpose. Each generation was molded with similar beliefs, similar myths, similar assumptions about how the world worked. After World War II, the post-war order provided the grounding myths of the modern West. The Allied victory became the moral backbone of the twentieth century. It made Americans proud to be Americans. Liberators. Patriots. The righteous victors of history. And within that curated narrative, the ultimate historical evil was established: Nazi Germany as the Ultimate Boogeyman and the ("alleged") horrors of the Holocaust. This became the defining moral boundary of modern Western culture, the archetype of absolute evil that anchored the entire post-war worldview. This wasn’t merely history. It became defining mythos. A moral axis around which political discourse, cultural identity, and historical interpretation would revolve for generations. A reminder of what “true evil” supposedly looked like, even as forms of corruption and power already existed much closer to home. Everyone watched the same shows. Everyone heard the same news.
