Sham – I am a KP. The situation in Kashmir at the peak of terrorism was deeply complex. There were something like 50 shades of grey -from a Kashmiri Muslim neighbor being involved in killings to another helping families leave; from the same KM passing information to terrorists to also sharing intel with the Army to eliminate them. It was never black and white - it was that complex. While I dont have much sympathy with KMs in general but there is a decent percentage who wanted to live a normal life but never could - Their lives suffered from both sides - terrorists forcing them to do unsaid things - and then being questioned by Army too - it is never easy to live in a conflict region. While major KM sentiment is what we all know - there is a small percentage who just want a normal life - who live with morality or atleast tried to
