📣The consortium "Innovation by Creative Economy (ICE)" under German leadership (Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft) won the tender for a new Knowledge and Innovation Community (KIC) in the cultural & creative sector. Congratulations and lots of success!

We received 14 applications for the second stage of our Creative Danurban Competition👍. Contestants elaborated their ideas further✍️ and in the next days they will learn who is invited to the 3⃣rd & final stage of the competition (pitching session🗣️🎤). 📢Stay tuned!📢

The traditional Villacher Kirchtag (77th edition) was back after 2 blank years! It is Austria’s largest traditional festival with more than 450,000 visitors this year. This festival full of tradition🎷, culinary🥘 & culture🎭 turns Villach into a hilarious place-to-be for a week.

On 19 July 2022, 3 project partners moderated an online workshop during the Creativity World Forum. We discussed 🗨️ what is sustainable (sub)urban regeneration and why is creativity & CCIs important for suburban regeneration while sharing project findings and good practices.👍👏

On 16 July 2022 Municipality of Vratsa 🇧🇬 with local partners organized an urban picnic🧺with games🃏, musical performances🎶 and information⛺️on environment/park protection & development of creative industries. The event was a real success!👏

Our partner IPA Craiova presented RESTART_4Danube & our Romanian Local Action Plan at a regional conference on Creative Danube, Connectivity - overcoming the shrinkage in Vidin 🇧🇬 & Calafat 🇷🇴 on 30.06–01.07. Sharing ideas💡& practices + discussing synergies on connectivity 🫂!

On 19-20 July 2022 S2i invited the RESTART_4Danube consortium to Karlsruhe 🇩🇪! Project partners visited👀 an old slaughterhouse🐷now a creative park, a coworking space in a former steam workshop 🏭& the Centre for Art and Media🖼️. For more details, see➡️: interreg-danube.eu/news-and-event…

After 2 years of working on the project, partners finally met face to face in Szombathely, Hungary last week. PBN hosted the first personal steering committee meeting together with a study visit. Read more about our experiences: interreg-danube.eu/news-and-event….

The #RomanianNationalContactPoint for the #DanubeTransnationalProgramme announced the launch of the Interreg Romania Facebook page (facebook.com/Interreg-Rom%C…). So that many potential beneficiaries can benefit from opportunities offered by these programmes, please like and share!

We are happy to announce that the first stage of the #CreativeDanurbanCompetition is concluded. We have received a total of 17 applicants and now, for the evaluators, the real work begins. Participants who will be invited to the second stage are going to have an active summer!

Rijeka LAP: Sustainable regeneration of industrial building Our Croatian partners implemented & tested 2 of their planned actions: 1) 3DITion WS, 2) 3D RInovatoRI, where entrepreneurs & children got introduced to modern 3D technology in Production park Torpedo & Children's House.
