How many good X creators emerged as a result of payout Vs how many good creators you know who were posting great thoughts without any compensation? X posts now get huge engagement on baits and hate content and those people bragging payout screenshots encourage others to post the same. You only see video aggregators posting other peoples work from other platforms and still getting huge engagement, how many you see posting original videos? Making a good YouTube video takes a lot of effort and also the viewer needs to engage with it for a certain time. YouTubers became celebrities.
