This is just one of countless scenes across Redditch and the country that depict a growing problem. Our communities are swamped in litter, yet local councils continue their inaction. Volunteer litter picking groups shouldn’t have to shoulder the burden of clearing up the mess that their our council tax was meant to pay for. Meanwhile, bills keep rising while the decline spreads it's tendrils. We're forced to live amongst the ruins of what was once a beautiful and dignified civilisation, now littered with plastic bottles, crisp packets, and brutalist architecture scarred with graffiti like wounds marking the passage of neglect. Restore Britain has pledged to: -Invest in keeping our streets clean. -Enforce tougher punishments for fly tipping and littering. -Mobilise non-violent offenders and able bodied benefit claimants to contribute to keeping our communities tidy. We need a shift in mindset. We need to take pride in our villages our towns, our cities and our country. Together, we can restore cleanliness, dignity, and civic pride to Britain. We don't have to live like this any longer.
