If Amy Coney Barrett can no longer make sound, consistent judgments, then yes, I believe it’s time for her to resign.

42 years ago today, I was out for a run in Houston. A tree fell on me, leaving me partially paralyzed. My parents instilled in me the values that carried me through my darkest days: hard work, perseverance, and faith in God. Our lives are not defined by our challenges, but by how we respond to them. Some say you need a spine of steel to lead. I actually have one. And I will never stop fighting for Texas.

🦉Did You Know?🦉 Howard Hughes wasn’t just an eccentric billionaire — he secretly helped the CIA recover a sunken Soviet submarine in one of the boldest covert ops of the Cold War. Code-named Project Azorian, it used a civilian cover story built around Hughes. 🦉 In 1968, a Soviet sub (K-129) sank in the Pacific. The CIA needed its codebooks, nukes, and intel. They approached Hughes, whose company built the Glomar Explorer — a massive ship supposedly for manganese mining. In 1974, it attempted to raise the sub. Part broke off, but they recovered bodies, torpedoes, and tech. The operation stayed hidden until leaks exposed it. Hughes provided the perfect plausible deniability for one of the most expensive and audacious intelligence missions ever. Genius, power, and secrecy — classic Hughes. True Cold War story. How deep did the billionaire’s reach go? Comment below. ⚠️Disclaimer: Based on declassified info and historical accounts. Original post.

Howard Hughes The billionaire aviator who built empires, broke records, and eventually vanished into paranoia. From Hollywood producer to Las Vegas kingpin, his life read like a movie script. He inherited a fortune young, produced expensive films, and designed the massive Spruce Goose — the largest plane of its time. He set airspeed records and survived horrific crashes. But fame and injury took a toll. Germophobia and isolation defined his final years. Hughes died in 1976 after years of seclusion. One of America’s most brilliant — and strangest — tycoons. Genius or cautionary tale? True story of ambition and decline. What’s your favorite Hughes fact or story? ⚠️Disclaimer: Based on verified historical records and biographies.

Anson Jones: The Last President of the Republic of Texas Born in Massachusetts in 1798, Dr. Anson Jones was a physician who moved to Texas in 1833 seeking a fresh start. He quickly became one of the most important figures in the young Republic — serving as a surgeon in the Texas Revolution, congressman, senator, Secretary of State, and ultimately its fourth and final president (1844–1846). The Architect of Annexation Jones navigated delicate diplomacy between the United States, Mexico, and Britain. He deliberately kept options open — even securing a treaty of recognition from Mexico — to strengthen Texas’s position. In the end, he helped guide the Republic into the Union. On February 19, 1846, at the ceremony in Austin, Jones personally lowered the Lone Star flag of the Republic of Texas and watched the Stars and Stripes rise. He famously declared: “The final act in this great drama is now performed. The Republic of Texas is no more.” Later Years & Legacy After statehood, Jones retired to his plantation near Washington-on-the-Brazos. His later life was marked by personal struggles and disappointment that he wasn’t chosen for higher office in the new state. He died by suicide in Houston in 1858 at age 59. Jones is often called the “Architect of Annexation” for his steady hand during a pivotal moment in Texas — and American — history. His leadership helped bring Texas into the United States without further war. What stands out most to you about Anson Jones or the Republic of Texas era? ⚠️Disclaimer: This is a historical overview of Anson Jones and the Republic of Texas based on documented records and contemporary accounts. Augusta & Adeline van Buren: The Sisters Who Rode Across America in 1916 🏍️🇺🇸 In an era when women couldn’t even vote, these two fearless sisters — Augusta (32) and Adeline (27) — fired up their Indian Power Plus motorcycles and tackled a brutal 5,500-mile journey from New York to California. They battled muddy roads, raging rivers, the Rocky Mountains, desert heat, mechanical breakdowns, and constant skepticism from a society that said women couldn’t handle it. Dressed in military-style leather breeches (scandalous at the time), they proved women could serve as dispatch riders and endure the same hardships as men. Their ride wasn’t just about adventure — it was about shattering limits and fighting for equality. On September 8, 1916, they rolled into Los Angeles after 60 days. True American pioneers. Respect to the women who refused to stay in the passenger seat. Who’s your favorite trailblazing woman in history?

Carroll Shelby: The Texas Legend Who Tamed the Cobra and Beat the World 🏎️🇺🇸 Born in Texas in 1923, Carroll Shelby wasn’t just a driver — he was a force of nature. After winning Le Mans in 1959 (becoming the first American to do so in a Ferrari), a heart condition forced him out of the cockpit… so he built faster machines instead. He took AC Cars’ little British roadster, stuffed a massive Ford V8 into it, and created the legendary Shelby Cobra — the car that took on Ferrari and won. Then came the Shelby Mustang GT350 and GT500, and later the Daytona Coupe that helped Ford crush Ferrari at Le Mans in 1966. Raw power, American grit, and pure ingenuity. Shelby didn’t just race — he redefined what was possible. “I didn’t fail. I just found 10,000 ways that didn’t work.” — Carroll Shelby (paraphrasing Edison, but living it) Legends like this built American automotive dominance. Who’s your favorite American car icon or racer? #CarrollShelby #ShelbyCobra

Our administration owes a debt of gratitude to Nick Shirley for exposing one of the most egregious cases of fraud this country has ever seen. If the media was worth their salt, they would take notes from Nick and other citizen journalists who care about investigating stories that affect the American people instead of trying to silence them.
Nick shirley@nickshirleyy

Remember when instead of investigating the fraud the mainstream media decided to investigate the person who exposed the fraud? Why? Because they were complicit in the cover up I was right, they were wrong I work for you, they work against you The media is full of learers.

Why has the mainstream media NEVER told you this? The Democratic Socialists of America recently voted in support of completely DISMANTLING the American Republic and replacing it with a new system. Their national political committee voted 12 to 11 in support of ABOLISHING the Presidency and the Supreme Court and making everything completely subordinate to Congress. Look at how many of them have run for Congress lately! What are the odds? Over 51% of the DSA's governing board members are now self-avowed communists. And they recently passed 120,000 members, making them the largest "socialist" organization in American history. Ten years ago, that number was only 6,000. The mask is fully off. The radicals are actively infiltrating the Democratic system to execute this blueprint from the inside out. Look at Mamdani and the slate of radicals winning primaries and trying to seize real political power. They are systematically replacing traditional Democrats with radical collectivists who are openly telling you, in their own published platform documents, that they want to dismantle the American Republic and destroy the separation of powers. The facade is gone. This IS the communist blueprint for a silent takeover.
