@2147mill But, your paying rent & instead of your asset. I seen the arguments for both. If you invest, & invest well I'd take the divvy. If i had kids and no sign of moving, id probably go mortgage.

Binary choice: Own a £300k house with a mortgage or own £300k of dividend stocks in an ISA? One costs you £1,200/month. One pays you £1,000/month. Both can appreciate. Only one is liquid.

Breaking news: The UK’s borrowing costs have hit their highest level since the 2008 global financial crisis, as disappointing borrowing numbers add to a brutal sell-off for gilts driven by inflation fears. ft.trib.al/jDigNKV

Added a little $ADBE here. Showing signs of capitulation, 1 to hold for some time, so happy to begin my entry, early. Back at 2019 prices. Clean balance sheet, sold off on news. No Dividend, but can't have it all! No leverage, simply spot, so entry doesn't need to be perfect!

@AshDavidsonUK Spot on if you want to see your money at 60 /65. I use my sipp for that. I dont want to wait until 65 to be rich, I use some capital on shorter investments to provide passive income & freedom sooner. No, I am not scalping to 1 minute chart with leverage! 😂

Barclays Downgrades $ADBE to Equalweight from Overweight, Lowers PT to $275 from $335 Analyst comments: "We are downgrading ADBE to Equalweight on three key points: (1) On the quarter, net new annualized recurring revenue was below our estimate, as generative artificial intelligence tools like Adobe Firefly impacted tools like Adobe Stock, since customers can now create images using text prompts rather than relying on stock images. Looking forward, the fiscal 2026 annual recurring revenue guide is unchanged, as the second half should see net new annualized recurring revenue acceleration from enterprise tools, freemium monetization (with 80 million monthly active users at the end of the first quarter), and generative credit usage, which was up 45% quarter over quarter. (2) Faster growth in freemium users like Firefly and Express is weighing on average revenue per user, but this could become compelling at some point given Adobe’s success with Acrobat Reader, Adobe’s original freemium product, so this will be a trend worth tracking because of the sheer number of subscribers available in these freemium markets. (3) The biggest news from the quarter is that long-time CEO Shantanu Narayen is transitioning out, although staying on as board chair, while the board searches for a replacement. Mr. Narayen’s leadership at Adobe has been exemplary, but we think it will take time for a new CEO to effect change here given Adobe’s $25 billion-plus annual recurring revenue base, which is why we are stepping to the sidelines and lowering our price target to $275."
