Our final Black History Month spotlight honors Dr. Duke Bradley, III, the first African American Superintendent of Newton County Schools. Sworn in on October 24, 2023, Dr. Bradley’s leadership marks an important milestone in our district’s history.

The NCAA rules committee wants to start penalizing players for wearing short-shorts, per reports. Almost a decade ago, the NCAA passed rules to require pants to cover the knees but the rules are never enforced by game officials.
