What’s the argument for Cristiano to be better than Eusebio bar longevity? Eusebio also the 2nd best footballer of his era, better goals per game ratio, much better record in finals, better World Cup record, better natural talent, better dribbler/better on the eye, etc.

My argument about the reproducibility (or lack thereof) of Messi's WC KO goals against good sides has gained very strong support this World Cup, by the way. In his 3 games vs good sides (330 mins in total), he had little to no scoring threat (much less goals), and that's despite playing 50 mins vs 10 men (🇨🇭) and 35 mins where his opponent retreated to their box and had 12% possession (🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿). You think he's too old now for this World Cup to count? Fair enough. Look at all the evidence that was already present by 2023 and mentioned in the thread below. The point still stands.
