Whilst looking for a Settlement Network for @upshot_cards i spoke to the teams from many L1s. Most were great, and abundantly helpful. But... It took a 20 min scrappy call with @davidtsocy to give me a gut feeling that we should build on @base It wasn't quantifiable, and we didn't talk about metrics or ecosystem support or even business in any sense. Still it was enough to give me the instinctual feeling that it was the right move.
