Packers have become the ONLY team in the entire 2026 draft to spend a pick on a kicker, taking Trey Smack in Round 6. Smack has a cannon for a leg, sure, but with bigger needs everywhere else, using Pick 216 on a kicker feels like peak “what are we doing?” energy.

Begging someone else to do something is crazy work. If you were deaf and blind, you would still know we haven’t had consistency with a kicker since Mason. I can’t remember a 7th rounder making an impact on the wins and losses. Pay them no mind some will complain just because the sun came up

You know how I know Gutey had a great draft? Because the one repeated complaint I'm seeing is regarding the trade up for a kicker. Oh no. They traded two seventh-round picks. I am begging folks to go outside and feel the wind on your face.
