@Fullmasked_ @OsweltOrtiz Yes, but hes also said Cave Story played a heavy inspiration, and playing it, its not hard to see why- The Mimiga heavily resemble the Dreemurrs, poisonous flowers are a central plot point that turn said Mimiga into killing machines (like Flowey but even less sane) etc etc

@Macaza109 @ShinyhunterXx89 @realblaines @EDMIRE2k For example, basically any computer I've ever used has been capable of NES, SNES, and GBA Emulation, N64 is usually fine but it also depends on what emulator your using, NDS is kinda shit in general tbh, its not horrible but its been kinda dead in the water for a while now

Idk why, you'd have to ask the devs. And as for the "Shitty Laptop" argument, you can emulate on a shitty laptop, you just need to know it's limits

@IntroSpecktive Better yet, if you want more old Pokémon, rom hacks exist like Blaze Black and Volt White that place the older Pokémon all throughout Unova, alongside the Unova exclusive Pokémon. Honestly a really cool way to revisit it tbh

Unova having its own exclusive dex was actually extremely refreshing and based

@Juliansiles12 @08Darkren @AndresL_1997 @girlfromsumwher It primarily only happened with the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 because that phone was engineered like utter ass and had a massive battery crammed into a tiny space, Batteries WANT to expand, with no space to expand, it can rip open and explode. Thats not an issue with the switch 2

@Dark11348808 @realblaines I have litteraly never once had a GBA emulator crash on me, wtf are you on about? NDS I've had crash simply because NDS emulation isnt perfect and I somehow booted one of the games that has a hard crash in emulator. As for Switch? Valid- there's way too many accuracy settings

@realblaines Gc emulator dunno but gba and nds amd switch emulator crashes a lot. If you speed up games it's even worse, the game blocks and never restart

@ShinyhunterXx89 @realblaines @EDMIRE2k Then your PC is shit. Or, if your running on Android, stop using Dolphin on Android. I've encountered Android exclusive bugs before in certain emulators (especially Vita3K, whoever maintains the Android builds needs to be fired), and Dolphin is no exception

Nintendo will probably make the Nintendo Switch 3 and continue to go down that path with numbered Switch systems. The name and brand is too good to pass up.

@Fullmasked_ @OsweltOrtiz Cave Story really is the ground zero for indie gaming even getting up off the ground, the developer had to create his own game engine, game devs nowadays take for granted what Unity, Unreal, Game maker, etc etc, do for them, Pixel had to make all that from scratch

@Fullmasked_ @OsweltOrtiz I mean... I'd argue Cave Story is far more important, since without it plenty of indie games, including Undertale, wouldnt exist. Its a huge reason as to why publishers even started taking indie games seriously, and Toby's even said it inspired him personally to make Undertale
