not that frequenting to the gym is a bad thing solely for lame freaks, I attend the gym habitually too, but I don’t completely neglect and demean the wider social fabric.

he’s irrefutably valid. there shouldn’t be an excuse if older gens could get pussy or dick easily even when they were average-looking. a lot of chuds resort to the gym as a compensation for being socially inept when they can put that same effort into learning socializing.

Caleb Hammer says Gen Z men are losers "Gen Z men are losers. Dating rates are record low, marriage rates are record low, virginity rates are record high. They're all just losers paying for OnlyFans and watching porn. Or just not manning up to go cold approach. It's not hard to have sex. I've never been a 10 out of 10. Was probably once a 7. I think I've gone down to a 5 out of 10. It is not hard to have sex before any notoriety or money."

@yungdessalines never fell for the ‘small talk is hollow’ propaganda and the whole discourse was inane to begin with. it’s like the most inherent thing humans do on a daily basis.

the performance of behaviors that undermine the wider social fabric are promoted widely on social and popular media, people are falling for the mythology of the algorithm at the expense of their personal, real world relationships and communities

@manicpixievamp @SLAYYY0NCE it’s always surreal to me how just a few years before lorde, almost every artist was hooked onto making electro-dance music to the point it got super cliché and they all suddenly ended up fully ditching it by 2015 in exchange for a more subdued sound with profound lyricism.

@SLAYYY0NCE i would say artists like lorde and lana really pushed the minimalistic “vibe” pop aesthetic to the mainstream. everyone after that wanted to be like them sooo bad and ended up bastardising the genre

@JacksonFromTwit it’s not that being nice is inherently a bad thing; it’s more that the “nice guy” persona is often only surface-level. deep down, there may be little to no chemistry, no humor, and no shared common ground. also, a lot of these “nice” guys come off as white knights.

@thefurlinator my provocative take is that, usher has a better discography than him and even janet jackson’s music appeases to my ears more. I also reckon his 90s run was better than his 80s stuff.

probably my single biggest unpopular opinion is that I just don't think Michael Jackson's music is that good. maybe because I didn't grow up listening to him at all? i never understood the Pope-level idolatry he inspired/was let down when i actually sat down to listen to him

@FOCUSonHXR this 2017 to 2021-ish quadrennium is so specific. these two felt like the last dying gasp of that phase when youtubers and tiktokers always had people in an uproar with their imbroglios and antics.
